    Our temple and its members are involved in social action and tsedaka throughout the community, volunteering at local food pantries and soup kitchens, teaching literacy, supporting the community through our caring committee, and working for other good causes locally and in Israel.

Join us to talk about and learn how to put on Tefillin!  All are welcome!  Sponsored by our Men's Club.  This will be followed by an "Ice Cream Wrap" at 1:30 PM at Natick Ben & Jerry's, sponsored by the Men's Club as a "Mom's Afternoon Off".  (open to dads and kids or families all together).  Includes ice-cream making and a tour of the freezer!

My Israel: TI Members Tell their StoriesJoin us next Sunday (February 1) from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for an informal panel with Israeli TI members who will share their family and personal stories about living in Israel. As a prelude to Yossi Klein Halevi's visit in March and along the lines of his book, Like Dreamers, our panelists will reflect on how their life stories have been shaped by the Six-Day War and other major events in Israel’s history. Free lunch provided (Falafel and Shawarma bar), children welcome! 

israeli film club: Magic men

Monday, February 2, 8:00 PM

"Magic Men" or in Hebrew, HABEN SHEL ELOHIM (Son of God), is an Israeli movie about the journey of an old man that was sent to Greece for a 'Tween city' ceremony and on the way he decided to find the person who saved him during WW2. To his

surprise, his son with whom he'd been  arguing for a long time joined him. A heart touching movie. Ophir prize for Best Actor plus many festival prizes.
